Front Office Clerk - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Streamline communication by expertly managing and routing calls with precision and efficiency.
  • Create a seamless patient intake process, harnessing technology to enhance client interactions.
  • Utilize advanced data-entry systems to maintain impeccable patient records.
  • Collaborate with the volunteer coordinator to optimize volunteer engagement through innovative solutions.
  • Leverage technology to manage appointments and ensure meticulous adherence to procedures.
  • Handle transactions with accuracy, utilizing digital payment solutions and cash handling protocols.
  • Maintain a welcoming and technologically advanced clinic lobby environment.
  • Assist in processing lab results using integrated digital platforms as directed by the Practice Manager.
  • Drive positive organizational change by contributing to our Performance Improvement Program.
  • Foster a modern and respectful atmosphere for patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate dynamically to achieve department goals, utilizing data-driven insights to build effective relationships.
  • Thrive in a primary care medical home environment, emphasizing continuous improvement.
  • Engage in comprehensive safety training programs to uphold a secure clinic environment.
  • Ensure workspace and equipment meet Legacy's cutting-edge standards.
  • Master Legacy's digital exposure control plans to enhance pathogen safety.
  • Demonstrate agility by taking on additional duties as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent—a foundational step towards a future-driven career.
  • Exhibit a professional phone demeanor with a tone that resonates innovation and clarity.
  • Excel in multitasking and managing a dynamic range of incoming communications.
  • Demonstrate exceptional data-entry skills with a precision-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, with experience in multi-line phone systems being advantageous.
  • Possess foundational math skills and filing abilities to maintain system orderliness.
  • Exhibit decision-making prowess in high-pressure situations, contributing to agile problem-solving.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly advantageous for enhancing community engagement.
